About

What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. TheFanlistings.org is the original (but not only) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting fans across the globe.

Mary Kate Olsen

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were born in Sherman Oaks, California on June 13th, 1986. Before they could walk they were splitting the role of "Michelle Tanner" on the network sitcom "Full House". By the age of four, they were considered child stars. Robert Thorne became their producer and raised their salary to $150,000 per episode of Full House. The show was cancelled in 1995 but Thorne knew the girls fame wasn't done with. Thorne founded a company called Dualstar and made Mary-Kate and Ashley executive producers at the age of seven. They made a lot of straight-to-video movies and eventually got in to prudcts for "tweens". They appealed to millions of "tween" girls who were too old for cartoons, but too young for the teen movies. The company made everything from movies and CDs to cosmetics and hair products. In 2003, the company made $970 million. In 2003 they began working on their first feature film, New York Minute. It hit the box offices on May 7th, 2004. It hadn't done as well as hoped, but overall they had a great time and have no regrets. In 2004, Mary-Kate Olsen, publically came out with her eating disorder. With support from her family, friends and fans, Mary-Kate went to Cirque Lodge just after graduating from Campbell Hall. There she went through rehab and after 6 weeks of treatment came out a healthier girl. Throughout 2004 she still struggled but is continuing fighting the battle. In fall 2004, both Mary-Kate and Ashley attended NYU for school. During the end of 2004 and 2005 they focused on their personal lives and school and took a break from their acting careers.
